WashingtonTechnology.com has ranked the top 100 Defense contractors by revenue. Here are the Top 10 as of 2008:

1. Lockheed Martin
2. Boeing
3. KBR
4. Northrop Grumman
5. General Dynamics
6. Raytheon
7. SAIC
8. L-3 Communciations
9. EDS Corporation
10. Fluor Corporation

Boeing, GD, Lockheed, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon provide big ticket ships, aircraft and ground systems as well as support and services. SAIC, EDS and KBR provide mainly services. L-3 makes large, C3I systems that are expensive and complex. Fluor provides engineering services and construction and has won several large government contracts lately.
