The Department of Defense continued its relationship with NACE International by extending a contract for training and certification in corrosion protection. NACE International, an organization that grew out of the “National Association of Corrosion Engineers”, is the world’s leading authority on corrosion protection and prevention. Surface Finishing.com has the press release.

The US Military over the last several years has put a major emphasis on corrosion prevention and protection. The DoD has set up centers of excellence that train and educate military personnel on this issue. NACE International is the primary source for training and development of this material. This kind of investment will save the military millions over the years as equipment is kept running long and longer.
