Now Northrop Grumman, Unisys and System & Processes Engineering will also provide RFID tags. These newer tags will come in a variety of types with different lifetimes, uses and ranges. They will also perform diverse functions that will allow security applications as well as tracking. The RFID III contract is worth over $400 million.
