U.S. Company Awards International Satellite Communication Contract

The Australian newspaper The Age reports that the U.S company PCI gave NewSat a contract to provide communications between military units and support contractors in Afghanistan with bases in the U.S. To add to the international flare NewSat will use satellites operated by SES New Skies, a Dutch company. KBR Reports Strong Earnings for 2008

KBR was one of the top ten contractors by revenue for 2008 as we wrote about here. It reported its 2008 earnings this week.
