The Nintendo Wii is recession-proof — At a time when other companies have slipping sales, Nintendo has smashed their expected Wii numbers. In November, the company was expected to sell 1.4 million units, but moved just over 2 million. Xbox 360 saw modest gains from last year, and Sony’s PlayStation 3 sales dropped by nearly 25%.
